Andalucía Sabor - International Fine Food Exhibition
Andalucía Sabor is the official appointment of a top class food-farming power. It is a professional and monographic meeting that brings together Andalusia's food supply to consolidate its presence in the national and international markets. All the professionals of the food industry and the high cuisine meet together at a summit that confirms the leadership of Andalusia's agribusiness beyond its own frontiers. The second edition of Andalucía Sabor will be held in September 2009, after the exceptional success of the first edition.
Agribusiness firms and Regulatory Boards of Designations of Origin, distributors, hotel and restaurant operators, managers of food chains and buying groups, cuisine professionals... Andalucía Sabor invites all operators of the food-farming industry to its next edition, that will allow them to take part at the new trends to renew and consolidate the different business lines. The Fair will double its exhibition area for 2009 with a total 8.000 square meters, and will bring together importers from the main countries in the world, who will reinforce the international projection and the market-oriented character of this event.
Exhibitors and visitors will have the chance to take part at a comprehensive programme of activities, including tasting of extra virgin olive oil, of Iberian pork ham, coupling of wines and cuisine, ham cutting, tapas and desert contests, round tables, presentations by Regulatory Boards and individual firms, etc.
The next edition of the International High Cuisine Conference Andalucia Sabor will be held in parallel to the Fair in one of the auditoriums of the Exhibitions and Conference Centre with innovative proposals built upon the quality of Andalusian food. Presentations by chefs will be combined with cuisine shows, chef duels, jam sessions, presentation of new products and recipes and cuisine ceremonies.
Transculturality and the combination of different disciplines will guide this unique cuisine summit, which again will bring together the best chefs in the international arena to rediscover the excellence and miscegenation of Andalusia through its cuisine.
