Extenda and Landaluz working together again to open international doors for Andalusian food products
Landaluz and the Ministry of Economy and Finance along with the help of Extenda, will renew the cooperation agreement for 2010 with the firm objective to boost the presence of the Andalusian food industry in international markets. Promotional actions have a consignment of 200,000 euros, financed at 50%, and aim to unite the small and medium enterprises of this activity to facilitate their access to internationalization.

The agreement includes performances in retail chains in countries such as Hungary, USA, Portugal and Andorra, as well as support in the dissemination of corporate and interactive tools. The performances will be held in the Portuguese market, Hungarian, or American. Notable among these promotions will be in the U.S. chain Food Emporium, which will be held in May, and will mark the first time in history that Andalusian brands be present in more than fourteen exclusive stores this store chain has in New York city.

The commitment to the internationalization of Andalusian products also will be accompanied by promotional activities and significant financial investment, and will be supported by the magazine edited by Landaluz, ‘Andalusian Flavor’, which has a quarterly basis and includes content in English and which is distributed among international importers and buyers for large supermarket chains and opinion makers and the revitalization of social networks such as www.andalusianflavour.com as a medium for interaction and participation and potential sites for the creation of business.

The agreement has been signed by the General Director of Extenda, Teresa Sáez, and the president of Landaluz, Manuel Jurado. The renewal of this cooperation is the result of the constant momentum of internationalization undertaken by both entities since 2002, the year that the first cooperation agreement was signed.
