The Tapa: The Symbol of Andalusian identity
Following its success last year, we have put together a new edition of the book “Andalusia Cooks Andalusia” with the objective to promote the consumption of quality Andalusian food products in Horeca Channel.This time we wanted to highlight the most popular aspect of Andalusian cuisine, “The Tapa”.
“The Tapa” is becoming a hallmark, and has culinary value from Chefs all over Spain, especially for the Andalusians. Therefore, with this book we want to spread the idea and values of this concept, giving it
special prominence. We have selected around 35 of the best
tapas bars of Andalusia that recreate traditional Andalusian recipes
with a renewed vision, all which are matched with the products of those companies that show interest in collaborating with this action of
promotion.
The selection of tapas bars has been made based on objective criteria such as: the Andalusian products used in cooking, the presence of Andalusian wine on their wine list, the presence of regional oils at the table, etc.. This is all supervised by the consulting group of gastronomic events, GSR group, and the designing and coordination by the editorial company, Global Press.
Of all the selected tapas bars, their recipes and their step by step can be consulted and enjoyed as often as you like on this website.
This new project will involve an interactive development in a new spot that we are launching from LANDALUZ for our international business. It will be called
