Hacienda Chambergo
Hacienda Chambergo is presumably one of the biggest family companies producing organic extra virgin olive oil. Farming has taken place on the family estates since 1862 and in the 90's organic olive oil was brought to market under the brandname "Hacienda Chambergo". The products have been in Germany, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Canada and Japan. The company "Chambergo Companía de Exportación" are currently aiming at the US market - the original and unique bottles, do now carry the USDA label, and the products are thought to have high potential in the US.
The Hacienda Chambergo olive oils are made from the varieties Arbequina and Picolimon. Chambergo has around 80.000 olive trees. No synthetic chemical products are used.
The olive oils are made from faultless ripe olives, that are grinded throughout a process of first cold pressing (never surpassing 25 degrees Celsius)
